Position Summary:

The Physician at Auburn Memorial Medical Services provides high-quality, patient-focused care in an outpatient setting. This role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, promoting preventive health, and working collaboratively with a healthcare team to support the well-being of the community.

General Responsibilities
  • Upholds the terms and expectations outlined in the employment agreement with Auburn Memorial Medical Services.
  • Provides patient care with the highest level of ethical and professional standards.
  • Maintains a strong, trust-based physician-patient relationship as the foundation of care.
  • Demonstrates integrity, transparency, and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Actively contributes to the continued growth and excellence of Auburn Memorial Medical Services' clinical services.
  • Commits to lifelong learning and continuous professional development to stay current in medical knowledge and skills.
  • Dedicates full-time effort to the practice and advancement of their medical specialty at Auburn Memorial Medical Services.


Clinical Responsibilities
  • Delivers comprehensive healthcare services within their medical specialty, ensuring a patient-centered approach.
  • Maintains and enhances clinical quality by adhering to Auburn Memorial Medical Services' quality standards and participating in improvement initiatives.
  • Complies with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including standards set by The Joint Commission.
  • Utilizes evidence-based and approved practices within their specialty to deliver high-quality care.
  • Participates in shared on-call coverage, including routine, urgent, and emergency care across assigned locations.
  • If board eligible, actively pursues and maintains board certification in a timely manner.
  • Accepts additional clinical or administrative responsibilities as mutually agreed upon with the Medical Director.


Organizational Responsibilities
  • Reads, understands, and adheres to Auburn Memorial Medical Services' policies and procedures, including those outlined in the Employee and Quality Systems Manuals.
  • Promotes the organization's mission, vision, and commitment to quality care.
  • Attends required staff meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions.
  • Strives to improve operational efficiency through effective use of organizational resources.
  • Upholds patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and ethical standards.
  • Maintains discretion and confidentiality regarding all company, staff, and administrative matters.


Certifications:
  • ATLS
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
