Position Description
Harvard Kennedy School seeks a scholar of the highest distinction to appoint as a tenured professor in the area International Macroeconomics and Global Finance. Candidates must have a distinguished record of research that addresses challenges of the international financial system, such as global macroeconomic imbalances, macroeconomic policy coordination, debt and financial crises, exchange rate management, development finance, international financial regulation, and the role of multilateral institutions. Their work must address these issues in ways that are informative and useful to policymakers. They must be able to address broad multidisciplinary audiences and successfully teach master's level students of public policy and international development in a professional school. Requirements include a doctorate in economics, finance or a related discipline, and a strong capacity to integrate methods and insights across disciplinary boundaries.
