Executive Health Exams
Geriatric Assessments
Pre-Surgical Risk Assessment & Optimization
Acute Care Clinic Services, such as:
IV Therapy (Diuretics and Antibiotics)
Lab Procedures (Point of Care Testing, Hemoglobin A1C, Urinalysis and Urine Pregnancy)
Retinal exams for diabetic patients (in coordination with Ophthalmology)
Vaccine administration
Plus, a conventionalInternal Medicine practice
What You Can Expect:
Care for patients ages 18 through Geriatric
Schedule based on complexity:
New patients, annual physicals, and patients over age 65 – 40-minute appointments
Follow-up appointments for patients under age 65 – 20-minute appointments

The Geisinger Internal Medicine Clinic is just minutes from Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV). GWV has been a part of the Geisinger family since opening as the NPW Medical Center in 1981. The professionals at GWV provide high-quality, coordinated, patient-centered care for residents of northeastern Pennsylvania and beyond. Located just outside of Wilkes-Barre, GWV is home to a Level II trauma center to provide care for the most seriously ill and injured patients, as well as services in more than 50 specialty and subspecialty areas.
