Internal Medicine Physician

Job Description:

Primary Care Physician

Location: Chesapeake, VA

Schedule: Full-Time (4.5 days/week, transitioning to 4 days)

Qualifications

  • Education: Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 2 years of residency completion) in Internal Medicine.
  • Licensure: Active Virginia medical license or the willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience: While experience is preferred, new graduates are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary Care: Provide comprehensive clinical care for adult patients (ages 18+).
  • Patient Panel: Maintain a 4.5-day work week while building your patient panel; once established, the schedule will transition to 4 days per week.
  • Documentation: Ensure timely and accurate completion of patient charts and clinical documentation.
  • Teamwork: Maintain a team-oriented mindset to collaborate effectively with staff and colleagues.
