Full Job Description
The Internal Communications Manager is a strategic communicator and culture builder responsible for shaping the Plexus team member communication experience. Reporting directly to the Director - Global Communications & Community Engagement, this role plans and executes global internal communication strategies to align, inform, and engage employees. This role partners closely with regional and site-level teams to execute annual communication strategies. Serving as a key partner to executive leadership, HR, and site leaders, this role ensures internal messaging reflects Plexus's Strategic Brand Foundations and drives global employee engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
Global Internal Communications Strategy Execution: Drive the strategic planning, development and delivery of global enterprise-level internal communications. Serve as the primary author for executive messaging, company-wide business updates, town hall content and strategic initiative rollouts to maintain a connected workforce.
Strategic Brand Foundations Integration: Ensure all enterprise-level internal messaging, employee touchpoints and communications directly reinforce Plexus's Strategic Brand Foundations. Champion internal brand alignment across all channels so team members experience a consistent brand culture.
Regional Alignment & Stakeholder Feedback: Partner closely with regional brand and communication leads and other stakeholders to support and execute annual enterprise-level communication plans across all regions. Establish feedback loops with internal stakeholders to continuously evaluate engagement levels.
Data Driven Internal Channel Optimization: Own and optimize enterprise communication platforms, including the intranet, digital signage networks and internal newsletters. Continuously monitor and measure channel effectiveness for optimization.
Change & Leadership Communications: Craft timely, transparent change management communications in support of enterprise-level strategic initiatives and emergency/crisis messaging in close partnership with key stakeholder and enterprise leadership team.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field.
• 7-10 years in internal communications, corporate communications or employee engagement.
