Internal Auditor.Position Type: Full-time Contract, Possible Contract to Hire
Duration: 06-12months
Location: Rochester, NY 14606 (Onsite)As an
Internal Auditor, you will:
- Responsible for monitoring the organization's internal control environment and ensuring compliance with SOX, internal audit standards, and corporate governance requirements.
- Leads the documentation, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of key internal controls across financial and operational processes.
- Partners with process owners to assess control effectiveness, identify gaps, and drive timely remediation.
- Oversees control deficiency tracking and remediation activities, ensuring issues are clearly defined, action plans are developed, and progress is monitored and communicated to leadership.
- Maintains structured reporting on control performance, remediation status, and emerging risks. Leads significant improvement efforts within the control environment and contributes to the development and execution of operational plans that deliver measurable impact on business or functional results.

Ideal candidate will have:- Bachelor's in accounting, Finance. CPA will be plus.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:Pay Range*: Between $75- $82 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
