Job DescriptionIntermediate /Senior Bridge EngineerMarkham, Brampton, Ottawa, Hamilton or London, ONIn this role, you will be a part of the Transportation team in ON and have the opportunity to work on the new structures, inspection and evaluation of existing structures, and rehabilitation of existing structures projects.
What a day at EXP has in store for you- Assist with on-site inspection, analysis and condition assessment of existing structures.
- Perform construction and life cycle cost estimate.
- Assist with planning and schematic/geometric layout of new structures.
- Perform analysis and design calculations according to the applicable design codes; use computer programs as appropriate.
- Prepare plan drawings and details.
- Assist in preparation of construction specifications.
- Perform material quantity take-offs.
- Organize design calculations; and assist with project construction administration including reviews of shop drawings and requests for information.
What your experience looks like- 4-8 years of relevant experience.
- P.Eng designation obtained or will be obtained soon.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
- Bridge Inspection experience OSIM.
- Knowledge of structural analysis software.
- Familiar with Bentley's MicroStation.
- Proficient with MS Office software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
