Responsibilities

Employee will provide support to the NGA Integration Test and Image Quality Office (TAC) which is the primary integration testing and quality assurance organization. Employee will assist with providing independent verification and validation of software and hardware, and information system releases prior to operations.

  • Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts.
  • Works under only general direction, provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
  • Determines and develops approach to solutions.
  • Provides intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, Joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI).
  • Monitors and analyzes all strategic and operational aspects of political, military, and economic developments for the countries in the AORs and AOIs.
  • Assesses future and on-going political-military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country.
  • Researches, authors, and coordinates threat assessments to support the Commander and the other senior leadership as well.
  • Connects pieces of information that is available from different sources like field agents and form reliable reports on anti-terrorism and national security to deal with potential threats.
  • Assesses the believability of the information from the reliable sources, collects it and validates intelligence.
  • May provide team leadership to other Analysts.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Must possess and have the ability to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Poly
  • BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experienced collections manager.
  • Experience as a trainer or course developer in the imagery field.
  • Working knowledge of coding/scripting techniques.
  • Ability to use at least one of the various Electronic Light Tables (ELTs).
  • Experience working directly with or general knowledge of PAN, IR, MSI, RADAR, LIDAR, and FMV imagery and associated products, such as Full Spectrum GEOINT (FSG).
  • Knowledge or experience in all facets of imagery exploitation, artifact/anomaly identification, and NIIRS quality scales.
  • Basic Order of Battle knowledge for the purposes of equipment identification.
  • Ability to use all primary ELTs, including Remote View, SOCET GXP, Erdas IMAGINE, and other similar programs.
  • Self-starter who requires minimum supervision.
  • Ability to assume a team lead role for the work group.
  • Specialist on complex technical and business matters
  • Ability to contribute to moderately complex aspects of a project.
  • Able to develop and use more complex concepts and processes, conduct root cause problem analysis and develop technical solutions to problems.
  • Experience guiding and supporting junior level personnel.
  • Requires guidance only when dealing with new, uncertain, undefined or undeveloped tasks.
  • Proficient in oral and written communication skills

Desired:
  • Completion of an accredited imagery analysis training program either via the U.S. military or a civilian government agency.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Basic oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter who requires minimum supervision.

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
