Responsibilities

Support a critical national defense space warfighting mission at the forefront of space security and mission assurance. As an Intelligence Analyst, you will deliver timely, actionable intelligence that enables mission leaders, operators, and Intelligence Community partners to identify, assess, and respond to evolving counterspace threats. Your analysis will directly inform operational decisions that protect high-value space and ground assets conducting 24/7 mission protection operations.

 

This role is ideally suited for a space intelligence professional with deep expertise in terrestrial and on-orbit counterspace threats, including both kinetic and non-kinetic capabilities. You will help shape intelligence assessments, guide research efforts, and contribute to a highly collaborative Intelligence Division focused on operational space superiority. Working alongside mission protection, flight safety, and engineering teams, you will support Indications & Warning (I&W) integration initiatives, improve intelligence-driven operational processes, and enhance organizational understanding of the rapidly evolving space domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor real-time operations and analyze relevant Intelligence Community reporting to produce and disseminate intelligence products supporting operational decision-makers across space operations centers.

  • Conduct research and develop intelligence assessments that enhance organizational space domain awareness and support mission planning and execution.

  • Provide intelligence expertise and operational perspectives to identify emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for mission improvement.

  • Support training development initiatives as well as strategic planning, contingency planning, and exercise execution efforts.

  • Collaborate across multiple functional areas—including flight safety, mission protection, engineering, strategy, planning, and operations—to address intelligence requirements and assessment inquiries.

  • Maintain required crew certifications and technical proficiency to support real-world operations and exercise scenarios in accordance with approved procedures and checklists.

  • Support daily mission protection activities by monitoring, assessing, and reporting on significant space-related events and mission-impacting threat developments.

  • Participate in 24/7 crew operations during mission events and periods of elevated operational tempo.

  • Lead and participate in meetings, briefings, and working groups, providing subject matter expertise on space intelligence topics to senior military and civilian government stakeholders.

  • Contribute to intelligence collection prioritization and analytical efforts that help close organizational knowledge gaps and improve mission effectiveness.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

 

Qualifications Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of foreign and domestic space and ground-system threat capabilities.

  • 8+ years of experience supporting Defensive Space Control and/or intelligence analysis missions.

  • 2+ years of experience supporting the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).

  • Experience with all-source intelligence analysis and collection requirements management.

  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of orbital mechanics and space mission applications.

  • Experience supporting joint and interagency exercise planning and execution.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering executive-level briefings and presentations for military and civilian leadership.

  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary operational and intelligence teams.

Target Salary Range$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
