Full Job Description
We seek a Program Planning professional to be part of our team supporting the OPIR Mission. Based out of Highlands Ranch, CO or Sunnyvale, CA you will support the execution efforts across multiple sites and programs. For your assigned component, you will interface with Engineering, Business Operations, and Program Management and will brief senior management. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing a compliant Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) which will reflect the accurate and detailed contractual scope and resources to execute the program. To be successful you will need to be a self-motivated planner who wants to mentor peers, contribute to team training, and work independently and as part of a community of planners, who delivers compliant solutions on time. Summary of key duties: In this role, you will... 30 Lead development and maintenance of the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) ensuring integration between the Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) 30 Maintain schedule integration between the IMS and the Program Summary Master Schedule (PSMS) and supplemental schedules 30 Lead the preparation, execution, and maintenance of new or existing planning products 30 Support the implementation and monitoring of the Earned Value Management System through cost and schedule integration throughout the program lifecycle 30 Identify Critical/Driving Paths, performing probabilistic/deterministic risk analysis, and developing corrective actions 30 Lead planning support to Production Operations and Master Program Scheduler as part of monthly management rhythms; Ensure schedule accuracy 30 Perform schedule integrity checks 30 Generate and deliver IMS reports and metrics 30 Present schedule-related information to internal and external customers 30 Ensure compliance with LM Corporate Program Performance Management and Program Planning policies and practices 30 Supporting proposal submittal and execution schedule development to meet established plans and parameters to include SOW, CWBS, and IMP traces to tasks #LMSpaceProgramPlanners Basic Qualifications 30 Minimum of 4 years of professional program planning experience 30 Expert with developing the Integrated Management Plan / Integrated Master Schedule (IMP/IMS) for contract actions and requests for proposals 30 Experienced with DCMA and/or System Description compliant baseline change control practices and adjudicating DCMA Data Driven Metrics 30 Expert with Microsoft Project, Open Plan or comparable scheduling tool and Schedule Risk Assessments (Monte Carlo simulations) 30 Expert with depicting and explain with authority, program schedule or network paths, as a Gantt or network chart for an executive level. Full knowledge of how to perform typical schedule integrity checks and critical path analysis 30 Highly skilled with Microsoft Office products 30 Must be a United State citizen and be able to obtain a Top Secret Security clearance Desired Skills 30 Active Top Secret security clearance 30 4+ years of professional program planning experience 30 Working knowledge of ANSI/EIA - 748 (EVMS Guidelines) 30 Expert with government reviews, internal and external audits and Data Driven Metric compliance requirements and surveillance 30 Expert with resource loaded IMS and baseline change control 30 Expert knowledge of Lockheed Martin Program Performance Management Process 30 Strong influencing and relationship management skills, building an inclusive culture 30 Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective internal relationships 30 Strong ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team 30 Expert ability to organize planning, cost and CAMs to meet a goal on a tight timeline examples rolling waves, wall walks and what if analysis 30 Self-motivated to continue to learn and evolve your planning "toolbox", to mentor other planners. Contribute to team "toolbox", be a part of the teams ongoing training development plan. 30 Ability to complete actions with minimum direction or supervision. Determining independent and compliant solutions to complex problems to meet action deadlines/timeline. Strong sense of follow-up and closure with strict attention to detail and quality. 30 Experience with WBS scheduler, OnePager Pro, Milestones Pro Software or similar Gantt or schedule network tools. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $111400.00 - $206800.00 The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. 30 For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
