Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline with supporting experience demonstrating electrical controls engineering competencies
  • Minimum 7-10 years of engineering experience
  • Experience leading installation and commissioning of industrial projects in the power generation/energy field
  • Experience leading technical teams
  • Experience with battery energy storage systems and products


Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the activities for teams of Field Service Engingeers, Technicians, and subcontractors who execute installation and commissioning tasks based on customer and project requirements
  • Create project commissioning plans in support of new BESS projects in the America's Region
  • Develop and maintain ESS I&C standard documentation, such as processes, procedures, scope of work instructions, training, quality and safety requirements
  • Select, train, and qualify sub-contractors for I&C work scope in collaboration with ESS sourcing manager
  • Develop request for quotation packages for sub-contractor I&C contracts. Liaise with ESS sourcing and legal teams in developing I&C sub-contractor contracts
  • Provide feedback from field experience to ESS quality and engineering teams so trends can be determined and product improvements can be implemented
  • Provide technical support to Field Service Technicians, Engineers, and subcontractors
  • Drive a "Safety First" culture to I&C processes and execution activities with collaboration of ESS Quality and Safety Managers supporting root cause analysis and corrective action plans to support continuous improvement activities
