Insights Analyst

About the role
We're looking for an Insights Analyst who can master the Knotch One platform and transform complex data into compelling, actionable insights that drive client outcomes.

As a Knotch Insights Analyst, you'll dive deep into web analytics, journey data, and survey results to uncover the story behind the numbers. You'll translate technical findings into clear recommendations and test-and-learn plans that align with each client's unique business goals. Working closely with your account team, you'll ensure every insight is tailored, relevant, and ready to drive impact.

This role sits within a Knotch Pod team with high visibility and direct client impact. Knotch Pods include an Account Director, a Director of Client Outcomes, a Customer Ops Specialist, and an Analyst. Knotch Pods work on the same group of enterprise clients (multiple clients and/or multiple lines of business within the same client) to give you consistency in what projects you work on. You'll work alongside this team to turn data into decisions that drive desired business outcomes for our enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Challenge assumptions by questioning data anomalies and digging deeper to uncover the "why" behind the numbers.

• Visualize insights through compelling dashboards, reports, and presentations that make complex data accessible.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics within marketing, digital analytics, or SaaS environments.
• Prior startup or growth-stage company experience working in fast-paced, agile environments.

• SQL for advanced data querying and analysis

• AI experience utilizing AI to code or create analysis

• Knowledge of GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)

• Data science methodologies

• A/B testing and UX design/testing experience

How to be Successful

• Ability to translate data points into a cohesive story-you take scattered insights across qualitative and quantitative data and weave them into narratives that drive action.
• Experimental rigor and data cleanliness-you maintain the highest standards for accuracy and don't tolerate messy data or unvalidated conclusions.
• Precision and attention to detail-you catch errors others miss and ensure every number tells the truth.
• Time management skills to juggle multiple client projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
• Presentation ability and data storytelling-you communicate complex findings in ways non-technical stakeholders understand.
