Job Summary and Qualifications

We are currently seeking a Rehab Services Manager to join our team. As our Manager, you will have twenty four hour accountability for practice, quality of care and services within the Rehabilitation Department. While you will also ensure provision of quality services by maintaining appropriate resources, staffing levels, competency of staff, maintenance and performance of equipment, instrumentation calibration, physical space, and training and education of staff. Your tasks and responsibilities may include:
• You will ensure patient assessment and therapy is appropriate, accurate and patient specific.
• You will ensure documentation of care is timely, accurate, and complete.
• You will continually apply the principles of continuous quality improvement through monitoring, measuring, assessing, and reporting quality indicators and trends to improve patient outcomes or prevent patient injury.
• You will ensure that the department is compliance with all legal, regulatory and accrediting agencies, i.e., JCAHO requirements.
• You will use the occurrence reporting system and report trends to staff quarterly.
• These reports are used to improve patient safety.

What qualifications you will need:
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or Speech Therapy or Occupational Therapy. Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Physical Therapy or Speech Language Pathology or Occupational Therapy
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Current FL License
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills. Knowledge of State, Federal and TJC regulations
