Responsibilities

  • Perform structural calculations necessary for plan preparation.
  • Oversee and validate the production of plans, signing and sealing them.
  • Conduct structural surveys and inspections.
  • Write technical reports related to structural evaluations.
  • Supervise structural work during the construction phase.
  • Contribute to the quality assurance system's effective operation and improvement.
  • Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects with other business units.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, acting as an ambassador for the firm.

Vos Résponsabilités
  • Effectuer les calculs structuraux requis pour la préparation des plans.
  • Superviser la production des plans, les signer et les sceller.
  • Réaliser des relevés et des inspections de structure.
  • Rédiger des rapports techniques.
  • Superviser la réalisation des travaux de structure lors de la phase construction.
  • Contribuer au bon fonctionnement et à l'évolution du système d'assurance qualité.
  • Travailler en équipe sur des projets multidisciplinaires, avec les autres places d'affaires.
  • Établir et maintenir des relations avec nos clients, jouer le rôle d'ambassadeur auprès de ceux-ci.


Qualifications

Votre Parcours
  • Détenir un baccalauréat en génie civil jumelé à un minimum de 7 ans d'expérience en structure.
  • Être membre de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Posséder une attestation en santé et sécurité générale sur les chantiers de construction (ASP).
  • Être considéré par vos pairs comme un passionné du travail hautement technique et de qualité, votre grande capacité d'apprentissage, votre capacité à travailler en équipe et votre excellente communication tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.
  • Connaître des logiciels tels que MathCad, Advance Design America et revit.

Vos Clés de succes
  • Une expérience dans le domaine de l'industrie lourde (un atout);
  • Connaissance du logiciel Woodworks (un atout)
  • Maîtrise de l'anglais (parlé et écrit) est requise afin de faciliter la collaboration avec nos équipes internes à l'extérieur du Québec ou avec nos clients.
