Titre du poste: Ingénieur(e) électrique - Spécialiste en acquisition de données et instrumentation

Le candidat sera appelé à travailler avec une équipe multidisciplinaire composée d'ingénieurs électriques/mécanique, techniciens et dessinateurs technique. L'objectif étant de réaliser des projets attachés au développement de nouveaux systèmes électriques et automatisés de bancs d'essais destinés à développer de nouveaux programmes moteur. Le candidat pourra exercer ses fonctions dans un mode de travail hybride en suivant les recommandations de la santé publique.

Le poste est à temps plein du lundi au vendredi selon des horaires flexibles à Longueuil et s'effectue exclusivement en présentiel.

  • Dirige des activités de recherche, développement, conception et validation d'équipement ou de systèmes d'instrumentation en communiquant avec les parties prenantes afin de s'assurer que les objectifs de l'entreprise, les requis et les spécifications soient rencontrés.
  • Représente l'organisation lors des rencontres, comités, conférences et travaux d'équipe interdisciplinaire pour présenter, expliquer ou défendre les recommandations, trouvailles, ou autre négociations ou ententes.
  • Donne des formations techniques aux ingénieurs juniors et autres corps de métier
  • S'assure que les méthodes standards sont suivies et que la qualité du travail est rencontrée.
  • Analyse les requis techniques, la capacité, les coûts et les besoins du client pour déterminer la faisabilité du projet .
  • Conçoit des composantes, des logiciels, des produits ou des systèmes électriques et/ou automatisés.
  • Produit une cédule d'implémentation et planifie les budgets des projets pour les livrer selon les temps et les coûts établis avec le client.
  • Dirige et coordonne les activités de fabrication, construction, installation, maintenance, opération ou de modification de systèmes ou des équipements électriques et automatisés .
  • Supervise les activités d'implémentation de nouvelles technologies et s'assure de leur intégration dans tous les systèmes.


Qu'est-ce qu'il vous faut pour réussir?
  • Baccalauréat en génie électrique ou automatisation ou aéronautique
  • Membre de l'ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Minimum 10 ans d'expérience dans un emploi pertinent
  • Expérience avec les standards de communication en aéronautique
  • CANbus, Arinc, UART
  • Expérience en calcul de mesure d'incertitude
  • Maitrise des différents principes de mesure (Pression, température, vibration, débit etc.)

Electrical Engineer - Data Acquisition and Instrumentation Specialist

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Lead the research, development, design, and validation of instrumentation equipment and systems while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure business objectives, requirements, and technical specifications are achieved.
  • Represent the organization at meetings, committees, conferences, and cross-functional project teams to present, explain, and defend technical recommendations, findings, negotiations, and agreements.
  • Provide technical training and mentorship to junior engineers and other technical professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, established methods, and quality requirements.
  • Analyze technical requirements, capacity, costs, and customer needs to determine project feasibility.
  • Design electrical and/or automated components, software, products, and systems.
  • Develop project implementation schedules and manage project budgets to deliver work on time and within agreed costs.
  • Lead and coordinate the manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, operation, and modification of electrical and automated systems and equipment.
  • Oversee the implementation of new technologies and ensure their successful integration into existing systems.


What do you need to be successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience with aerospace communication standards.
  • Working knowledge of CAN bus, ARINC, and UART communication protocols.
  • Experience performing measurement uncertainty calculations.
  • Strong understanding of measurement principles, including pressure, temperature, vibration, flow, and related instrumentation.
