Sommaire des responsabilités

L'ingénieur(e) de projet assurera la planification, l'organisation et la gestion des projets techniques, de la conception à la réalisation, afin de contribuer à l'atteinte des objectifs de la plateforme d'un produit commercial spécifique.

  • Au nombre des responsabilités associées au poste :
  • Créer et maintenir des plans de projet, déterminer les livrables et les jalons requis, affecter les ressources et estimer les tâches.
  • Gérer et contrôler les essais, les risques et les plans d'urgence, le budget, les livrables et les changements aux projets.
  • Consigner et maintenir les exigences relatives aux procédés et aux produits qui sont établies par les experts en la matière.
  • Collaborer avec les fournisseurs externes, les partenaires et les services internes (plusieurs disciplines techniques, fabrication, chaîne d'approvisionnement, finances, TI).
  • Coordonner les revues de projet pour la fabrication, l'outillage, les modifications techniques et les tâches de gestion de la configuration.
  • Créer des calendriers de programmes à partir de zéro et développer des profils de compétences des ressources.
  • Gérer simultanément les calendriers de plusieurs projets.
  • Développer les besoins en capital, l'équipement nécessaire et les plans des installations pour soutenir les programmes.
  • Développer de nouveaux outils de gestion de projet et d'analyse des systèmes et consigner les pratiques exemplaires et les leçons tirées.


Exigences du poste / Qualifications

  • Baccalauréat ès sciences en génie. Un diplôme en génie mécanique, aérospatial, électrique ou dans une autre discipline connexe du génie est un atout important.
  • Au moins 7 ans d'expérience en génie
  • Une expérience dans plusieurs unités fonctionnelles est un atout important
  • Expérience en ingénierie de projets est un atout
  • Maîtrise de MS Project et d'Excel
  • La connaissance de Primavera est souhaitable
  • Capacité de voyager à l'étranger de 5 -10 % du temps (selon les besoins)
  • Compétences en conception, gestion de projet, fabrication, amélioration de procédés, connaissances techniques et documentaires.
  • Compétences en relations interpersonnelles et en communication
  • Esprit d'équipe
  • Capable de faire des présentations devant différents leaders de l'organisation
  • Ce poste peut être comblé à Mirabel, QC (CAN) et/ou à Fort Worth, TX.
  • Excellentes connaissances en anglais, ce poste nécessite des communications en anglais avec les équipes de Bell hors Québec et/ou ses fournisseurs, partenaires et clients hors Québec

Summary of job description

A Project Lead for the Commercial Programs team will plan, organize, and manage technical projects from conception to completion to support a specific Commercial Product Platform's goals and objectives.

  • Specific duties include:
  • Create and maintain project plans, determine required deliverables and milestones, assign resources and estimate tasks;
  • Manage and control testing, risks and contingency plans, budget, deliverables, and project changes
  • Capture and maintain process and product requirements defined by Subject Matter Experts
  • Collaborate with external suppliers, partners, and internal departments (multiple engineering disciplines, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, IT).
  • Coordinate design reviews for manufacturing builds, tooling, engineering changes and configuration management tasks
  • Create project schedules from scratch and develop resource skill profiles
  • Manage schedules on multiple projects concurrently
  • Develop capital requirements, equipment needed, and facility plans to support programs
  • Develop new project management and system analysis tools and capture best practices / lessons learned


Minimum required qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical or other related Engineering discipline is strongly preferred
  • 7 years of Engineering experience
  • Previous experiences in various business units is highly desirable
  • Previous project engineering experience is a plus
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Proficient user of MS Project and Excel
  • Primavera system knowledge is a plus
  • Able to travel abroad 5-10% of time (as needed)
  • Demonstrated success of driving resolution of complex technical problems as a team leader.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Teamwork attitude Comfortable working with multiple teams and influencing without authority
