Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
• Current RN license in Georgia.
• Minimum of two years' experience in an RN office practice, ideally infusion-related.
• Demonstrated infusion therapy experience.
• Chemotherapy experience preferred, not mandatory.
• Proof of current vaccinations required for patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Administer peripheral IV lines for new patients and educate them on medication self-administration.
• Review daily lab results, relaying pertinent information to physicians and patients.
• E-prescribe medications as per doctor's orders and liaise with pharmacies.
• Manage incoming and outgoing patient calls effectively.
• Prepare EMR charts for upcoming appointments, ensuring all documentation meets meaningful use criteria.
• Facilitate patient scheduling and office visits as necessary.
• Engage in quality assurance and educational opportunities when requested.
