JOB PURPOSE

PHINIA is seeking an Infrastructure Services Lead to take its global infrastructure and digital service foundations to the next level of maturity, resilience, and transformation. This role will be accountable for the strategy, delivery, reliability, and modernization of Hosting Services, Cloud Services, Network Services, End User Computing, and Global Services, including Identity & Access Management, Active Directory, ServiceNow, Service Desk, Change Management, and Digital User Experience.

The Infrastructure Services Lead will drive platform simplification, operational resilience, automation, proactive service management, and user experience improvements across PHINIA's plants, corporate sites, and global workforce. Working closely with Information Security, Applications, regional IT leaders, and business stakeholders, this role will ensure PHINIA's infrastructure services are secure, scalable, cost-effective, and positioned to support the company's future transformation roadmap.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the global strategy, delivery, and modernization of PHINIA's infrastructure services across Hosting, Cloud, Network, End User Computing, Identity & Access Management, Active Directory, ServiceNow, Service Desk, Change Management, and Digital User Experience.
  • Own the operational performance, reliability, governance, and continuous improvement of global infrastructure and service management capabilities across PHINIA plants, corporate sites, and end-user environments.
  • Drive strategic platform standardization and simplification, including migration from legacy technologies, optimization of strategic platforms, transition from VMware to Hyper-V where appropriate, and reduction of dependency on Oracle-based services.
  • Lead infrastructure transformation initiatives that improve resilience, scalability, cost efficiency, service quality, and user experience across cloud, hosting, network, workplace, identity, and ITSM platforms
  • Enhance enterprise observability by expanding business service views, SaaS monitoring, event correlation, proactive service insights, and automated alerting across critical business and technology services.
  • Drive proactive and self-healing incident capabilities to improve service availability, reduce resolution times, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Scale AI-enabled service capabilities, including improved self-service, AI-driven knowledge management, root cause analysis, and operational intelligence.
  • Strengthen Major Incident Management through improved coordination, executive and user communications, post-incident reviews, and measurable service improvement actions.
  • Oversee enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities, ensuring critical services have tested, effective, and regularly validated recovery plans.
  • Modernize global network services through Wi-Fi 7 deployment, network resiliency improvements, standard configuration optimization, and review of core DHCP and DNS architecture.
  • Lead network segmentation and support the OT hardening roadmap across PHINIA manufacturing sites, reducing infrastructure risk and improving operational resilience.
  • Establish and maintain global infrastructure standards, architecture documentation, topology maps, asset inventories, runbooks, operational guides, security baselines, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Information Security to strengthen identity, privileged access, Zero Trust alignment, vulnerability reduction, and secure integration across IT and OT environments.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, cost optimization, vendor performance, contract execution, license renewals, and strategic sourcing across infrastructure and global service domains.
  • Define and report KPIs, SLAs, service performance, risks, investment needs, and transformation progress to IT and business leadership.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary global team, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, automation-first thinking, and continuous improvement.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and stakeholder management experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, VMware, Azure/AWS, CCNP/CCNA, or equivalent are preferred
