Full Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on and technically skilled Infrastructure & Operations Engineer to join our team in Denver. In this role, you will work across production operations, internal IT, security compliance, and automation, supporting both production infrastructure and the day-to-day technology needs of our office. You will work closely with Production, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams to maintain reliable systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and continuously improve and automate our IT and operational processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the production on-call rotation and troubleshoot infrastructure, system, and service-related incidents.
  • Administer, maintain, and support Windows and Linux environments, virtualization platforms, networking, and datacenter infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve networking and connectivity issues, including firewalls, VPNs, switches, routing, VLANs, and DNS.
  • Own day-to-day internal IT operations for the Denver office, including employee devices, workstations, office networking, conference-room equipment, software, and other workplace technology.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective, including system access, device setup, equipment assignment, and technical support.
  • Own and administer the company's corporate technology stack, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, JumpCloud, HiBob, and other business-critical platforms, ensuring reliability, security, and effective day-to-day operations.
  • Support internal IT and SOC 2 compliance processes, including access reviews, endpoint compliance, asset tracking, and audit documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate repetitive processes using scripts, APIs, workflow automation tools, and AI.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams to troubleshoot issues and support technical initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of internal IT and production operations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in systems administration, production operations, or a similar technical role.
  • Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Strong practical knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting production or business-critical environments, including datacenter or cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting office IT infrastructure, end-user devices, and employee technology.
  • Experience with scripting, APIs, workflow automation, or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience administering both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Strong proficiency with AI tools and the ability to effectively apply AI to technical work, troubleshooting, and automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage competing priorities.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and provide occasional after-hours support when needed.
  • Experience with JumpCloud, VMware or similar virtualization platforms - advantage.
  • Experience with SOC 2 or similar security and compliance frameworks - advantage.

Compensation Range: $110,000 - $125,000 Annually + 10% annual discretionary performance bonus.
