What You'll Do- Design and maintain distributed search infrastructure across multiple regions
- Optimize query routing, load balancing, and failover strategies
- Build caching layers that maximize hit rates without sacrificing freshness
- Implement monitoring and alerting to catch performance degradations early
- Scale our index management to handle billions of documents efficiently
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities
What We're Looking For- 4+ years building distributed systems at scale
- Deep experience with search infrastructure
- Strong understanding of caching strategies, sharding, and replication
- Experience optimizing for low-latency, high-throughput workloads
- Proficiency with cloud infrastructure
- C++ proficiency
- Deep hands on coding experience
- Understand the importance of uptime and propose designs that show this awareness.
