Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Systems Engineering, or related field, or a High School Diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 10+ years in system engineering, information assurance, or cybersecurity.
• SecurityX (previously CASP+) or CISSP certification required.
• U.S. Citizenship and active Secret clearance or ability to obtain it before starting.

Responsibilities

• Integrate security requirements into system acquisition and engineering phases.
• Harden application interfaces and cloud environments using engineering methodologies.
• Prepare and maintain system security documentation under the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Support system certification for Interim Authority to Test and Authority to Operate.
• Act as the primary security advisor to government stakeholders and program managers.
• Lead security reviews and participate in technical working groups.
• Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability assessments to enhance defenses.
• Provide expertise to mitigate system security incidents and design security solutions.
