The Information Systems Analyst I ($44.67 - $57.01/hour; up to $118,581/annually) is a non-exempt, entry to journey-level role focused on supporting business processes and technology solutions. This level works on developing requirements, coordinating priorities with managers, testing applications, resolving routine problems and providing user support and training.

The Information Systems Analyst II ($51.73 - $66.00/hour; up to $137,280/annually) is an exempt, journey-level role responsible for more complex, enterprise-wide systems and applications. This level performs advanced systems and business process analysis, leads implementation and maintenance of large-scale systems, and handles the more difficult and complex technical support and maintenance issues.

Overview of Responsibilities
How You'll Support and Enhance District Business Systems

As an Information Systems Analyst, you will drive the analysis, optimization, and support of critical business systems across the district. The position leads business process discovery with stakeholders to understand workflows, data needs, and functional requirements, translating them into clear documentation, specifications, and process maps. It evaluates and recommends solutions-technical and non-technical-to improve efficiency and support strategic objectives.

The role supports and participates in software selection, implementation, and testing projects, contributing to system prototyping, quality assurance, and user training. It provides daily functional support for assigned applications, troubleshooting issues, advising users, and ensuring systems perform reliably under time-sensitive conditions.

Key responsibilities include developing reports and queries; maintaining system and user documentation; configuring and testing enterprise applications including ERP and content management systems; designing business workflows; and evaluating new software and hardware solutions. The position collaborates closely with users and IT teams to drive continuous improvement, enhance system functionality, and ensure business processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with organizational needs.

Qualifications
Successful candidates will have training and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college with major course work in management information systems, computer science, or a closely related field; and two years of increasingly responsible professional business systems analysis or applications support experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
A valid Class C California driver's license and ability to maintain insurability under the district's vehicle insurance policy.
Project management certifications such as Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly desirable.
