Position Overview

DAn Solutions is seeking a senior-level Infoblox Systems Engineer to support enterprise network infrastructure within a mission-critical DoD environment. This position will provide engineering expertise supporting DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management (IPAM), and related enterprise network services.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for the design, integration, implementation, troubleshooting, and sustainment of highly complex infrastructure solutions while working closely with Government stakeholders and other engineering teams.
Responsibilities
  • Engineer and support enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) services.
  • Support enterprise solutions utilizing Infoblox and related network infrastructure technologies.
  • Design, develop, integrate, and maintain highly available network services supporting enterprise environments.
  • Analyze user requirements, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), and high-level architectures to develop system requirements.
  • Lead systems engineering design and development activities.
  • Develop system architecture, system design, and technical documentation.
  • Identify and resolve complex hardware, software, network, and system integration issues.
  • Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend improvements to performance, scalability, security, availability, and reliability.
  • Incorporate new technologies, designs, and systems into ongoing enterprise operations.
  • Provide technical leadership for requirements integration, design, engineering, implementation, and testing.
  • Develop implementation approaches and support system engineering management, integration, and test planning.
  • Conduct or approve system trade analyses to optimize system performance throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on emerging technologies and enterprise infrastructure solutions.
  • Communicate technical recommendations, risks, issues, and solutions to Government stakeholders, program leadership, engineers, and senior technical personnel.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to engineering teams and junior personnel.

The PWS specifically identifies IP Address Management Engineering and calls for familiarity with DNS, DHCP, and NTP technologies across DIA networks and the IC IT Enterprise, including engineering these services and increasing their security.
Required Experience & Education

Candidates must meet one of the following combinations:
  • High School Diploma + 12 years of relevant experience
  • Associate's Degree + 10 years
  • Bachelor's Degree + 8 years
  • Master's Degree + 6 years
  • PhD + 4 years
Certifications
  • DoD 8570/8140-compliant Information Assurance certification appropriate to the technical objectives of the position.
  • Applicable network, infrastructure, software, or hardware certifications commensurate with the assigned environment.


Salary Range Disclaimer: The posted salary range represents the good-faith minimum and maximum compensation DAn Solutions expects to pay for this position. The position may be filled at different Labor Category (LCAT) levels depending on the selected candidate's qualifications and applicable contract requirements. Final compensation within the posted range will be determined based on the applicable LCAT and factors including education, relevant experience, certifications, and other required qualifications.
