Industrial Technician
About the Role
Industrial Technician plays a critical role in driving production quality, operational efficiency, and profitability by ensuring the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment and processes. This position supports production operations through the execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, while troubleshooting equipment failures and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Working closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams, the Industrial Technician applies technical expertise to optimize equipment performance, evaluate and improve manufacturing processes, and support the implementation of new technologies and production methods. The role utilizes structured problem-solving tools, including DDS and Root Cause Analysis, to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and eliminate recurring equipment and process issues.
Work Schedule - 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday.
What You Will Do
• Consistently demonstrate safe work practices and promote a culture of safety among team members.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Sets, monitors and improves the processes according to Statistical Process Control methodologies.
• Troubleshooting equipment and processes and suggest repairs to senior technicians.
• Review and support onsite chemical blending operations to ensure compliance with approved formulations and manufacturing requirements
• Monitor critical process parameters including mixing times, concentrations, temperatures, and batch yields to ensure product consistency and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning process and manufacturing work systems.
• Help plan work assignments, considering factors such as machine capabilities and production schedules
• Suggest revisions to operation methods, material handling, or equipment layout
• Maintain necessary documentation (drawings, diagrams, bill of materials, etc.) and communicate repairs to others.
• Participates in improvement projects to reduce maintenance costs and reduce process failures
• Working with mechanical and electrical blueprints or drawings is a big plus
• Support implementation of new manufacturing technologies, automation systems, and operational best practices.
• Support infrastructure optimizations and production planning activities
• Conduct equipment inspections and perform root cause analysis of mechanical, electrical, and process failures.
• Report any machine defects identified during periodic AM or PM reviews
Who You Are
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or other related engineering field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience understanding preventive maintenance schedules
• 1+ years of experience in industrial operations, process improvement, chemical manufacturing, continuous improvement, or a related technical environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, chemical processing, or heavy industrial operations preferred.
• Experience with process optimization, data analysis, and operational performance improvement initiatives preferred.
• Skilled in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point.

Expected Compensation:
Pay Range: $37 - $43 per hour + quarterly bonus + full benefits.
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience.
