Industrial Hygienist opportunity in
Oak Ridge, TN at the
Y-12 National Security Complex.
Job Description:The Industrial Hygienist will support provide the following support:
- Assist Industrial Hygiene Program Managers in executing technical data reviews.
- Conduct workplace investigations when Standard Threshold Shifts (STSs) are identified.
- Conduct Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) reviews of physical, chemical, and biological exposure sampling data (e.g., air sampling, surface wipes, direct-reading instrumentation).
- Perform office ergonomic assessments, user symptoms, corrective actions, equipment recommendations, and follow-up verification.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline and 10+ years of experience OR
- Master's Degree in relevant discipline and 8+ years of experience
- Experience with 10 CFR 850 is preferred
Other Job Requirements: - United States Citizenship
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DOE Q Security Clearance.
