S&ME is seeking an entrepreneurial leader to champion the growth of our Industrial & Data Centers market. As Practice Leader, you'll help shape the future of this practice by identifying new opportunities, expanding client relationships, guiding business development efforts, and building high-performing teams that support continued success across the organization.

The Industrial & Data Center market segment is part of S&ME's Business Growth Team, where we utilize our life cycle approach, providing our core services of environmental, civil, and geotechnical engineering, along with construction materials testing services and special inspections, to support our industrial and private clients.

What You Will Do:

• Drive Growth and Market Expansion
  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the Industrial/Data Centers market that aligns with company initiatives and goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve and exceed revenue targets within the market for our key services: environmental, civil, and geotechnical engineering, along with construction materials testing services and special inspections.
• Build Relationships that Matter
  • Establish and grow key client relationships at local, regional, and national levels within the market
  • Collaborate with local operations and expand existing client relationships
  • Leverage your network and industry presence to position S&ME as a trusted partner for each of our service lines
  • Deliver exceptional client experiences that lead to repeat business and long-term partnerships
• Lead, Build, and Inspire Teams
  • Partner with internal leaders to build the team, capabilities, and resources needed to scale
  • Mentor and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth
• Deliver Excellence
  • Ensure projects are executed with a focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction
  • Stay ahead of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement to keep S&ME at the forefront

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven success driving revenue growth of our core services (geotechnical, environmental, civil and construction materials testing/special inspections) within Industrial, Data Centers, or similar markets
• Strong network and client relationships within the industrial and./or data center industry
• 10+ years of progressive experience in project/program or market leadership roles
• You have a proven track record of winning and delivering opportunities for multiple clients within the Industrial and Data Center market
• Relevant professional licensure (PE/PG or equivalent) is a plus.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. The successful candidate must meet the requirements of the company's Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy, and Reference Check Program.
