About this Team

Our team, part of Keysight Laboratories' High Frequency Technology Center (HFTC), builds and supports hardware and software solutions that electrically test Process Control Monitors (PCM's) on wafers made in Keysight's Santa Rosa wafer fabrication facilities. HFTC's ability to rapidly innovate and deliver the world's best high frequency technology provides fundamental differentiation for electronic measurement products. The responsibility of an In-Fab Wafer Test Engineer is to facilitate rapid data acquisition of electrical performance of on-wafer PCM's, ensuring first-pass, quality data is sent to our Integration Engineering Team. In parallel, this on-wafer electrical data provides critical feedback to Process Engineers, ensuring their semiconductor processes are behaving as expected.

About this Role

This role will maintain and craft on-wafer DC, microwave, and millimeter wave measurements for Keysight's own III-V integrated Process Control Monitors (PCM's) and Si integrated PCM's. Test development spans exploratory R&D design validation of cutting-edge devices and automated small volume test of PCM's designed and manufactured in-house. These measurements are essential for evaluating the health and status of our wafers at critical test junctions within the routing. This role works closely with Integration, Process, NTI, Design, and other Test Engineers to ensure the on-wafer data is of the highest integrity and accurately depicts the lot health.
