Full Job Description
Serving as the Imaging Director, you are responsible for the daily operations of the department including staff, productivity, budget, equipment, customer service, and patient relations. You also work actively to develop and implement a policy and procedure system to facilitate departmental operations. The Imaging Director is responsible for reviewing work schedules, participating in the hiring of new staff and implements strategies to recruit/retain employees. This position is directly responsible for the Imaging Services and oversees staff in operation of imaging equipment, ranging from an x-ray machine to MRI equipment. This position requires excellent leadership skills with a philosophy of creating a high-trust culture that empowers employees as individual contributors and fosters a strong team environment. Initiative, creativity, and outstanding written and verbal communications are required. Demonstrated ability to find creative solutions to complex problems. The individual in this position reports to the Chief Administrative Officer.

This is a full-time salary exempt position.

Position qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relate field required. Master's degree preferred.

  • Seven (7) years post graduate with minimum three (3) years in acute care/hospital setting.
  • Five (5) years supervisory/management experience preferred.
  • ARRT Registered; Washington State Radiologic technology license (within 6 months of hire); expertise or credentialed in one other modality.
  • Knowledge of Washington State Nuclear medicine regulations and knowledge of PACS preferred.
  • Basic Life Support Heartsaver (HS) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.

  • Occasional prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting, reaching, kneeling, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling.
  • Moderately heavy physical effort, lift/carry up to 30+lbs.
  • Intermittent exertion when performing treatments.
  • Good reading eyesight; full visual acuity, depth perception, and color perception.
