We are building out the Idaho (ID1) Strategic Program Management Office to support one of the most exciting semiconductor expansions in the U.S. We partner closely with fab, engineering, and global teams to improve cost efficiency and maximize output! This is a highly visible team that directly impacts how we scale operations and deliver on long-term business goals.
As a Senior Cost Program Manager, you will lead programs that improve fab cost performance and operational efficiency. You will own key initiatives across OpEx, Tool Install & Qual (TIQ), and Max-Out programs, partnering with cross-functional leaders to drive measurable improvements in cost per wafer and output. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning data into action, aligning stakeholders, and leading complex programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:- Lead cost programs across OpEx, TIQ, and Max-Out to improve output and reduce cost per wafer and cost per gigabit
- Drive KPI tracking, performance-to-plan (P2P), and reporting to identify gaps and implement mitigations
- Partner with engineering, procurement, planning, finance, and global teams to execute cost reduction initiatives
- Identify and resolve capacity constraints using data analysis, benchmarking, and structured problem-solving
- Leverage automation, analytics, and AI tools to improve program efficiency and decision-making
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field
- 5+ years of semiconductor fab or front-end manufacturing experience
- 3+ years of program or project management experience in cross-functional environments
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tools, data visualization (e.g., Tableau), and automation or AI tools
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in engineering, science, or related field
- Experience in cost management, fab operations, or capacity optimization programs
- Knowledge of OEE metrics, constraint management, and manufacturing performance benchmarking
- Experience leading large-scale, cross-site initiatives or working with global teams
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods and best-known methods (BKM) development
