About the Role:The ICU Clinical Nurse Manager/Educator plays a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality critical care nursing within the Intensive Care Unit. This position is responsible for managing nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. The role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that enhance clinical competencies and patient outcomes. The ICU Nurse Manager/Educator collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and operational efficiency. Ultimately, this position ensures that the ICU nursing team is well-prepared, supported, and equipped to provide exceptional care to critically ill patients.
Minimum Qualifications:- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical nursing environment.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) or Nurse Educator credentials.
- Experience with curriculum development and adult learning principles.
- Proficiency in quality improvement methodologies and data analysis.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation.
