Role Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect to design and oversee the implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure technical solutions for IBM MAS 9. As a Technical Architect, you will work closely with the rest of Tech Arch team as well as cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure that architectural designs align with business goals and technical requirements.
Responsibilities- Non-functional requirements design/build/test
- Planning of Maximo (MAS9) disaster recovery test, coordinating the execution of disaster recovery test with client and other vendors
- Environment planning, understanding dependencies/inter dependencies by working closely with client and other vendors
- Responsible for defining monitoring parameters of Maximo application, including infrastructure, operational and security monitoring, and alerting
- Lead/guide onshore and offshore team members with some of daily activities
- Being able to support multiple teams including test, deployment, conversion, and change management in with their environment's requirements or troubleshooting
- Tune JVMs and their parameters for better performance, JMS setup and tuning
- Work with client security team to remediate potential security vulnerabilities at web and application layer
Requirements- Experience with Maximo integration technologies (MIF, MEA, Object structures, services, channels, etc.)
- Experience working in agile software development environments.
- Experience working on multiple projects and multi-tasking
- Experience with Azure, DevOps
- Experience in Maximo integration with other applications.
- Experience with database turning, being able to read/analyze AWR report and make recommendations Must have solid experience with Maximo set up and configuration. Must know Server clustering, Load Balancing, HTTP server configuration, App Server Configuration.
- Must have the ability to manage and ensure the successful completion of multiple technical tasks in assigned program.
- Experience with operating systems, networking, and firewall concepts
- Experience with security (SSL, data encryption, system user accounts, directory servers)
- Experience with web protocols including HTTP, SMTP and LDAP
- Knowledge of query languages like SQL/PLSQL
- English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
