Responsibilities:- As a Custom Software Engineer you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions by designing coding and enhancing components across systems or applications
- Your day to day activities will involve applying modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high performing solutions tailored to specific business needs
- You are expected to be a subject matter expert collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively take responsibility for team decisions engage with multiple teams contribute to key decisions and provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams
- Expert proficiency in IBM AS400 RPG III is required
- Advanced proficiency in Custom Application Development Software Design Solutions and Software Engineering is suggested
- Take ownership of specific software components and ensure their quality and performance meet project standards
- Support colleagues by sharing expertise and providing guidance on complex technical challenges
- Analyze and resolve recurring issues by identifying patterns and proposing effective solutions
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to align software development with business objectives
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to development processes and tools
Client requires onsite presence Monday through Friday in Pleasant Prairie, WI
Basic Qualifications:- Minimum 4 years of experience developing with IBM AS/400 RPG III
