Dewberry is seeking an experienced and innovative Hydrologist to join our Resilience Solutions Group. This role focuses on advancing the state of the science in inland hydrology and hydrometeorology to improve water resources engineering, planning, and design. The ideal candidate will apply deep technical expertise in hydrology, statistics, and risk analysis to design and develop advanced scientific workflows and cloud-based systems. They will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, planners, and software developers to deliver impactful, data-driven resilience solutions for federal, state, and local clients.
Responsibilities
Candidates must demonstrate knowledge and expertise in performing complex hydrologic analysis using software. Preferred candidates will have experience evaluating watershed dynamics in the context of extreme events, including fundamental understanding of inter-relationships between atmospheric science and hydrology in the natural and built environments.

Salary RangeThe projected range for this position is $85,000- $109,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
