Job DescriptionAt Nokia, we are seeking a hardware engineer with a background in unit integration and an understanding of PIM (Passive Intermodulation) cancellation technology to join our mobile infrastructure team. You will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to the development of Nokia's 3GPP mainstream radio technology products and solutions, with a focus on RF circuit design and signal processing. This role provides opportunities for growth and increased responsibility, allowing you to make a significant impact on our cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities- Design, simulate, and test RF circuits as part of a TRX design team, with potential areas of focus including transmitters, receivers, power amplifiers, RF synthesizers, antennas, and power supplies.
- Develop signal processing algorithms, digital pre-distortion and passive intermodulation cancellation techniques.
- Engage in circuit simulation, design, prototyping, and testing, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Produce clear and concise technical documentation and reports.
- Participate in design reviews and technical information exchange sessions, contributing to project RF design activities.
- Collaborate closely with subcontractors and support other design engineers and specialists.
- Stay updated with the latest RF and microwave technology advancements and industry trends.
- Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate and collaborate within a team environment.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding innovative solutions.
Qualifications- MS in Electrical Engineering or Physics with coursework in RF or Microwave technology is preferred.
- BSEE with 2 years of applicable internship experience is also acceptable.
- Strong knowledge of RF circuit design and signal processing techniques, with a good understanding of basic RF engineering principles.
- Experience with RF simulation tools (HP ADS, CST, HFSS) and analytical simulation/analysis tools (MATLAB, Python) is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to plan and organize tasks effectively.
- Technical leadership potential and a track record of successful team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel internationally at short notice, with overall travel expectations below 10%.
- A positive, solution-oriented mindset and a passion for continuous learning and growth.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
