What does a Turnover Technician do? This position is designed around turning service opportunities into completed repairs, replacements, and approved work. The technician is responsible for: • Diagnosing HVAC systems accurately. • Identifying repair and replacement opportunities. • Presenting repair options clearly to the customer. • Presenting replacement options when replacement is appropriate. • Generating approved work from service calls. • Following up on estimates and unsold opportunities. • Documenting equipment condition with photos and detailed notes. • Protecting company margins. • Maintaining high customer-service standards. • Selling maintenance agreements when applicable. • Communicating opportunities to the office/sales team.
