HVAC Service Technician

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. - Monroe, Ohio

Pay: $37.00/hr. to $48.00/hr. (based on experience) and $6.00 per hour fringe benefits.

Hours: Monday to Friday - Morning Shift (Typically a 7:00 am to 3:00 pm)

We're seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Technician with strong experience in commercial/industrial environments-including chillers, boilers, packaged units, pumps, cooling towers and related systems. Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, VRF/VRV systems, pumps and related equipment.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on HVAC systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Perform general maintenance on electrical and plumbing systems to support overall building operations.
  • Complete startups, seasonal changeovers, and system calibrations for HVAC and mechanical equipment
  • Work closely with the facilities management team to ensure all systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate service records and document all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used.
  • Respond to emergency calls and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure their needs are met and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a commercial/industrial HVAC technician.
  • Hands-on experience with chillers and boilers (required).
  • Familiarity with pumps, cooling towers, VFDs, hydronic systems and air distribution equipment.
  • Working knowledge ofelectrical and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and control-related issues.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as within a team, to solve problems and complete tasks effectively.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and industry regulations.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license throughout employment.
  • EPA 608 Universal Certification.
Preferred Skills:
  • Previous experience with large-tonnage chillers, boilers and industrial mechanical systems.
  • Additional HVAC, chiller, boiler, electrical, or plumbing certifications preferred.
  • Experience with building automation systems (Trane, Siemens, Johnson Controls, etc.).
