Strong working knowledge of U.S. Mechanical Codes, especially the International Mechanical Code (IMC)
Responsibilities
Prepare deliverables for all project phases, including models and P&IDs
Support design and engineering leads during meetings and proposal preparations
Participate in design status updates in internal and external mechanical meetings
Provide specifications input and comments when appropriate
Coordinate designs with other disciplines to resolve conflicts
Perform field surveys of existing conditions as needed
Respond to design-related requests in a timely manner
Provide labor estimates for tasks and review submittal documents

Full Job Description
We are seeking a Revit HVAC Mechanical Designer for a remote assignment. The selected candidate will design and draft mechanical systems for semiconductor manufacturing, cleanrooms, data centers or other advanced manufacturing facilities.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
This position can work remotely This position requires experience with Revit
Responsibilities - Prepares deliverables for all phases of the project including models, plans, details, sections, flow diagrams, P&IDs, sketches and equipment arrangement diagrams - Support design and engineering leads for meetings, proposals and construction documents - Attends and participates in design status updates for their areas of responsibility in mechanical meetings both internal and external as needed - Provides specifications input and comments where appropriate - Coordinates designs and deliverables and resolves conflicts with / between all disciplines and existing field conditions where required - Performs field survey of existing conditions - Responds to design and coordination requests, conflict resolution requests and information sharing requests in a timely manner - Provides labor estimates for proposed tasks for self - Reviewing and processing submittal documents - Participates in code review and discussion
Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED - 5+ years mechanical design experience - 5+ years industrial ductwork design experience - Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD - Strong working knowledge of U.S. Mechanical Codes, specifically the International Mechanical Code (IMC)
