The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for custom HVAC equipment and field-installed projects. This role prepares detailed electrical drawings, Bills of Materials, and submittal documentation to support manufacturing and installation. The position ensures designs meet customer specifications, applicable codes, and operational requirements, while supporting coordination between engineering, fabrication, and installation teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design electrical power and control systems for custom HVAC and pressurization equipment
Develop wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
Prepare HVAC sequences of operation
Perform electrical calculations including MCA and MOCP, SCCR, wire sizes
Select electrical components and materials based on electrical design and project requirements
Create detailed back panel layouts and specify electrical connections
