We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on HR Manager to lead all Human Resources activities for a brand-new manufacturing facility. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in launching operations, building a high-performing workforce, and shaping the employee experience from day one.
The successful candidate will serve as a strategic business partner to plant leadership while actively driving recruitment, employee relations, talent development, performance management, labor relations, compensation, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. What You'll DoAs the HR Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the people strategy that supports the successful launch and growth of the facility.
Strategic HR Leadership- Implement and align global and regional HR strategies within the facility.
- Drive the implementation of corporate HR policies, programs, and initiatives while adapting them to local business needs.
- Develop and enhance local HR policies and programs to address changing business conditions and workforce requirements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Plant Leadership and Management Team on all HR-related matters.
- Support organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning- Lead large-scale recruiting efforts to support facility start-up and ongoing staffing needs.
- Develop proactive recruitment strategies to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Manage permanent and temporary workforce planning to support production and business demands.
- Partner with leaders to build a strong talent pipeline for future growth.
Employee Development & Engagement- Design and coordinate employee training and development programs to ensure continuous growth and skill advancement.
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and high-performance culture that reflects company values and leadership principles.
- Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, employee feedback, and employee development planning.
- Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations- Ensure competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with company policies, and labor regulations.
- Monitor and optimize personnel costs while balancing productivity, profitability, and employee satisfaction.
- Oversee HR administration processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Employee & Labor Relations- Provide expert guidance and support to supervisors and employees on employee relations matters.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws, policies, and labor agreements.
- Determine and administer appropriate disciplinary actions in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with external organizations, government agencies, and workforce development agencies.
Performance & Continuous Improvement- Track, analyze, and report key HR metrics and KPIs.
- Develop and implement corrective actions when performance metrics fall below targets.
- Lead and support regional and global HR projects and initiatives.
- Apply cost reduction strategies and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies within HR.
What You BringRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale hiring and workforce ramp-up initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, and HR best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with HRIS platforms such as SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience supporting facility start-ups, expansions, or significant workforce growth initiatives.
