Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire hiring lifecycle from recruitment to exit interviews
  • Coordinate onboarding efforts between HR and Training Specialist
  • Advocate for employee satisfaction on the Morale Committee
  • Collect member feedback and drive improvement on the Member Rights Committee
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Clinical leadership to maintain current training and credentialing
  • Ensure compliance with HR laws, CARF standards, MCO requirements, and state regulations
  • Manage unemployment claims, workers' compensation, and personnel documentation
  • Develop and implement HR policies, performance management, and succession planning

Human Resources Director
Pathways to Life, Inc. - Greenville, NC | Full-Time | Exempt

What you'll do
  • Own the full hiring lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and exit interviews
  • Coordinate the onboarding process between our HR Recruiter and Training Specialist
  • Champion employee satisfaction - assess staff needs and serve on our Morale Committee
  • Serve on the Member Rights Committee, gathering member feedback and driving improvement plans
  • Partner with Quality Assurance and Clinical leadership to keep training and credentialing current
  • Keep us compliant with HR law, CARF standards, MCO requirements, and state regulations
  • Manage unemployment claims, workers' compensation, and personnel documentation
  • Develop HR policy, performance management, and succession planning

What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Working knowledge of the behavioral health population we serve
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to foster a cooperative, positive work environment
  • Integrity and discretion with confidential information
  • No substantiated findings on the NC Health Care Personnel Registry; must pass background check and drug screen

Schedule & location
Office-based, Monday-Friday. Travel to our additional sites required at minimum quarterly.
