Full Job Description

The Human Resources Business Partner serves as a key HR resource for leaders and team members at our Riceville, Iowa manufacturing facility, providing hands on HR support across the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Manager, this role partners closely with plant leadership and team members to support employee relations, talent, engagement, workforce needs, and day to day HR operations.

As the primary onsite HR presence for the Riceville facility, the HRBP builds trusted relationships across the plant, provides timely and practical HR guidance, and helps create a positive, engaging, and high performing work environment. This role supports both hourly and salaried team members and collaborates with HR partners and Centers of Excellence to deliver programs and solutions that support our people and business objectives.

YOUR IMPACT:

These duties are not meant to be all inclusive and other duties may be assigned:

  • Partner with plant leaders and supervisors to support workforce, talent, engagement, and organizational priorities that align with business objectives.

  • Provide day to day guidance and coaching to leaders on employee relations, performance management, attendance, corrective action, and employment practices.

  • Serve as the primary onsite HR resource for team members and leaders regarding HR policies, programs, procedures, and workplace concerns.

  • Assess and resolve employee relations matters, including conducting workplace investigations, supporting conflict resolution, and recommending appropriate actions.

  • Support performance management, talent development, employee engagement, and retention initiatives across the facility.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and plant leadership to support staffing needs, onboarding, and workforce planning.

  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver effective compensation, benefits, learning and development, and other HR programs and solutions.

  • Support annual and recurring HR processes, including performance reviews, talent planning, compensation activities, engagement initiatives, and other people programs.

  • Use workforce data and trends to identify opportunities, address workforce challenges, and support informed decision making.

  • Build strong relationships with team members and leaders while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high performing culture.

  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices while maintaining compliance with applicable employment laws and company requirements.

  • Support change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that enhance the team member experience and effectiveness of HR practices at the facility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Three (3) or more years of Human Resources experience across multiple HR disciplines.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingual Spanish and English communication skills, including the ability to effectively speak, read, and write in both languages, preferred.

  • Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, talent processes, and other core HR activities.

  • Experience supporting a manufacturing, industrial, or other operational environment.

  • Experience serving as an onsite HR partner or independently supporting leaders and employees within a facility.

  • Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations.

  • Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and employee relations.

  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and provide effective coaching and guidance to leaders and team members.

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and independently navigate employee and workplace matters.

  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to use workforce data and insights to identify trends and support decision making.

  • Innovative mindset with a willingness to challenge the status quo and support continuous improvement.

Pay Range:

$64,500.00 - $103,500.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
