Qualifications

• NCSO, CRSP, CSP or equivalent safety designation required, or in process of obtaining.
• Preferred experience in developing training programs and objectives.
• Degree, diploma or certificate in occupational safety is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction, Oil Sands, Mining, or Heavy Equipment.
• Knowledge of crane operations and standards is an asset.
• Familiarity with Transportation Compliance is advantageous.
• Ability to access oil sands sites in Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo Region.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead safety programs and policies tailored to branch and client needs.
• Implement and develop branch-level health, safety, and environmental (HS&E) systems.
• Manage incident response and investigation for all incidents.
• Develop and implement training programs for branch employees.
• Coordinate communication of safety alerts and best practices across NCSG companies.
• Cultivate relationships with Client Site Safety Representatives to ensure compliance and communication.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory and site safety requirements for operational teams.
