Job SummaryResponsible for the design, development, and support of projects that requires up to 120 hours of effort. Continuously contributes to the success of the development team.
Essential Functions - Proficient with IS methodologies and processes (i.e. Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle and IS Change Management process).
- Contributes to the design application solution, which will support the current and future Information Systems strategy.
- Collects, documents, analyzes, verifies, communicates, and tests system solutions.
- Communicates and shares progress of development tasks with senior development team members.
- Approximately 80% of the time is spent analyzing, designing, developing, and supporting application solutions. The other 20% is spent assisting the senior development team with managing projects.
- Participates in technical requirements and design sessions.
- Continually builds competencies and enhances knowledge and awareness of Industry standards, trends and best practices in order to strengthen the project and/or technical team and organizational knowledge.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Proficient knowledge of business area being supported.
- Experience managing small projects.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Basic level of technical knowledge of development, testing methodologies, programming languages, databases, and operating systems related to the area being supported.
- Ability to work independently and lead small projects with minimal supervision.

QualificationsEducation - Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Licenses/Certifications - Project Management Professional and/or related current technical certifications preferred.
Experience - Minimum of 2 - 7 years experience in the Information Technology environment. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
