Full Job Description
Department: Human Resources

This role is responsible for leading the firm's HR Technology function by overseeing HR systems, analytics, and technology projects while managing a team of analysts. The HR Technology Manager serves as a strategic partner to Human Resources and business leaders, ensuring HR systems are optimized, secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals. The position leads the planning and execution of HR technology initiatives, including system enhancements, integrations, reporting, people analytics, project governance, testing, release management, and change management. Additionally, the manager leverages data and reporting to support business decisions, develops solutions to meet stakeholder needs, and drives successful adoption of technology through collaboration, training, and continuous process improvement.

This position is remote if located in the following states: Alaska, Georgia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Oregon, Utah or South Dakota.

Your Role:

As an HR Technology Manager within our Human Resources team, you will:

  • Manage projects, timelines and resources assigned to the HR systems team and third-party consultants. Own end-to-end delivery of HR technology initiatives, and enhancements.  Develop, monitor and lead HR technology related project plans for the lifecycle of the project.  Establish project cadence, schedule recurring meetings, track project progress and address any potential roadblocks proactively. Partner with key stakeholders to define requirements, align priorities, communicate project status and ensure business needs are met and maintained. 

  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Talent, and IT leadership to align technology with business strategy.

  • Lead and mentor the HRIS Analysts, prioritizing work streams and projects, ensuring high-quality customer service. Distribute and prioritize deliverables across team based on capacity and priorities; lead recurring team status meetings to ensure action items and deliverables stay aligned to timelines.

  • Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to enhance user experience and data integrity.

  • Oversee the configuration, design, and deployment of HR systems, ensuring system performance and scalability. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for HR systems. Facilitate working sessions to drive solution design and decision-making.

Required Experience and Education:

This position requires a combination of HRIS/Information Systems expertise, leadership experience, and advanced Workday technical knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in information services, Human Resource Administration (with an IS minor), or equivalent experience, along with at least three years of people management experience. Candidates must possess advanced Workday configuration, security, reporting, and tenant management skills, as well as strong Excel proficiency. Success in this role requires strong business analysis, problem-solving, project management, and critical thinking abilities, with a proven track record of improving processes and automating departmental functions. The individual must be able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, provide excellent customer service, and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users. Regular attendance and flexibility to work additional hours when needed are essential.
