Full Job Description
Overview

The HR Strategic Advisor is a high-impact role responsible for helping connect enterprise priorities, external dynamics, and executive leadership direction to the internal operating agenda of the HR function. Partnering closely with the CHRO and HR Leadership Team, this role serves as a strategic integrator across priorities that cut across the function - translating business context into clear focus areas, shaping leadership discussions, and ensuring critical initiatives are framed, advanced, and connected to the work happening inside HR. The role exists to create stronger linkage between what is happening around the business and what HR must do in response, bringing structure, pace, and clarity to high-priority work that requires executive attention and cross-functional coordination. This position operates across strategic planning, executive decision support, initiative framing, and leadership communications, helping senior leaders move from broad priorities to aligned action. Success in this role means stronger alignment between the CHRO agenda and HR execution, clearer decisions, better orchestration across stakeholders, and more consistent follow-through on the issues that matter most.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Partner with the CHRO and HR Leadership Team to translate enterprise priorities, external business context, and executive focus areas into a clear strategic agenda for the HR function.
  • Support the CHRO in preparing for high-impact discussions, decisions, and leadership forums by developing clear narratives, framing materials, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
  • Drive strategic initiatives and special projects that require executive visibility, cross-functional coordination, and disciplined follow-through across multiple stakeholders.
  • Identify issues that require leadership attention, connect interdependencies across teams and initiatives, and help sequence actions to maintain momentum on the highest-priority work.
  • Facilitate discussions with senior leaders to clarify priorities, surface tradeoffs, align on decisions, and translate broad direction into focused action.
  • Develop executive communications, presentations, and strategic updates that synthesize complex information into concise insights, key messages, and decision-ready recommendations.
  • Partner with leaders across HR, Finance, Communications, Technology, and the business to ensure strategic priorities are well defined, aligned, and advanced with pace and discipline.
  • Establish and maintain visibility into critical priorities, milestones, and decision points to ensure leadership commitments are tracked and progressed.
  • Monitor emerging issues, organizational risks, and strategic opportunities that may affect the CHRO agenda or the HR function, and proactively bring forward insights and implications.
