A typical day will include:
- Manage and develop a team of HR Business Partners, supported by an HR Coordinator, to deliver employee relations expertise, leadership coaching, and strategic HR partnership.
- Lead the HR Business Partner function, ensuring consistent, high-quality HR consultation, employee relations support, and talent strategies across assigned client groups.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, workplace conflict, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure consistent and legally compliant employee relations practices across client groups and in conjunction with HRBP team/HR leadership.
- Partner with senior business leaders and HRBPs to develop workforce strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Consult on organizational design, talent planning, succession planning, employee engagement, and change management initiatives.
- Influence leadership decision-making through data-driven HR insights and recommendations.
Other duties may include:
- Lead and execute cross-functional HR projects and initiatives, focusing on process improvements, scalability, and operational efficiency
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and operational teams to identify opportunities to improve HR service delivery, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field required
- 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant HR Business Partner and employee relations experience.
- 5+ years of direct people leadership experience, including coaching and developing HR professionals.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders on organizational, talent, and workforce planning strategies.
- Experience leading HR Business Partner teams and driving consistent HR practices across multiple business units or client groups.
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leadership in a consultative HR role
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Preferred
- SPHR or PHR certification
- Multi-state employee relations experience.
- Exposure to an outward facing HRBP model, and matrix environment
- Experience leading HR teams in a decentralized or geographically dispersed environment.
- Experience supporting senior leaders at the director, VP, and executive level.
