About the role:

As an HR Generalist, you will work across multiple areas of HR. These areas include general HR program/policy development, administration, and compliance. Additionally, you will handle employee hiring, onboarding, termination, and records maintenance. You will also be responsible for employee and labor relations and communications. Furthermore, you will coordinate and administer rewards programs. Responsibilities may include managing projects/processes. May coach and review the work of lower-level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

You will report to Director, HR Fuel Manufacturing the and be located in Ogden, UT. This is an onsite role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advises, coaches, and counsels managers and employees on employee relations issues to promote positive relationships between managers and employees
  • Ensure equitable application of organization procedures while applying sound knowledge of relevant employee relations and applicable state and federal compliance laws.
  • Conduct workplace investigations for complex, EEO, and sensitive employee relations situations such as allegations of discrimination, harassment, Title VII violations, retaliation, misconduct, or hostile work environment. and termination determinations. Interfaces directly with government agencies and outside counsel.
  • Provide guidance to management and employees on the interpretation and administration of company policies, procedures, and programs. Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of HR operations and services.
  • Lead or participated in internal projects and workstreams. Identify and recommend methods to resolve problems, update, simplify, enhance, and optimize existing procedures, and technologies. Lead or support continuous improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with the members of the Human Resources group to identify and improve people programs and processes through building/updating SOPs, process documentation, employee-facing resources and recommending improvements.
  • Respond and resolve escalated cases in more complex HR scenarios.
  • Support HR leaders in the planning and execution of HR projects and programs.


Qualifications:
  • BS or BA degree in a related field or Equivalent
  • 4 years minimum HR Generalist experience, 6+
  • SHRM-CP or HRCI PHR (preferred)
  • Employee Relations experience, hands on experience with investigations


We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $76,400 to $95,500 per year.
