HR Business Partner to join our team!
The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to leadership and management, aligning human resources strategy with overarching business objectives. In this role, you will diagnose organizational needs, drive talent and retention strategies, lead complex employee relations, and ensure robust HR compliance. You will balance hands-on execution with high-level strategic support to foster a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Business Partnership:
- Partner with department heads and plant leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals, improve workforce productivity, and support organizational design.
- Employee Relations & Coaching:
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Provide daily performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning:
- Identify training, development, and succession planning needs for business units.
- Support high-level talent acquisition strategies and partner with hiring managers on critical selection and retention initiatives.
- Performance & Talent Management:
- Lead the implementation and execution of performance management processes, talent reviews, and retention strategies to build organizational capability.
- HR Compliance & Policy Leadership:
- Maintain deep, working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, AAP, OSHA, HIPAA) to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Adapt, implement, and champion Indra Group HR policies, ensuring alignment with both local site requirements and global company goals.
- Program & Benefits Oversight:
- Provide strategic oversight for employee lifecycle milestones (including advanced onboarding strategies and impactful offboarding/retention analysis).
- Collaborate on the localization and promotion of employee benefits programs and open enrollment initiatives.
- Leadership Support:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior HR staff (e.g., HR Generalists/Coordinators) and step in as a strategic backup for the HR Director when required.
Qualifications:- 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 2 years operating in an HR Business Partner or senior generalist capacity.
- Industry Experience: Proven HR experience within a manufacturing, logistics, or similar industrial environment is required.
- System Expertise: Strong working proficiency with ADP Workforce Now required.
- Core Competencies:
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with experience delivering high-impact orientations, training, or talent development programs to large groups.
- Expert-level knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including complex U.S. employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, AAP, OSHA).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Demonstrated ability to influence leadership and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Language: Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
