Full Job Description
We are hiring a full-time or part-time physician assistant for our nocturnist role. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively on overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:
  • Join a team of 50 physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers at Community Regional Medical Center.
  • Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. Become an integral member of the hospitalist team and community.

Qualifications:
  • Board certified/eligible physician assistant.
  • Active California license preferred.
  • Experience working as an advanced practice provider in an acute care hospital setting is required.
  • Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:
  • Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on/7-days-off rotation.
  • Shifts are 12 hours in length; 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Our night clinician will perform admissions in addition to cross coverage.
  • No procedures required.
  • Work alongside other nocturnist physicians and advanced practice providers.
  • Our patient population is diverse, so we are looking for a physician assistant who enjoys addressing a broad spectrum of patient needs.
  • Utilize Epic EMR.

Rewards and Compensation:
  • Annual compensation: $180,000 salary based on the number of shifts worked. Opportunity for bonuses. Excellent total rewards package.
