Overnight Social Worker – Emergency Department (Valley Hospital)
Location: Valley Emergency Department
Schedule: Primarily 10-hour evening shifts
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 for new full-time hires with a 2-year commitment

What You’ll Do:
Conduct mental health, suicide risk, and substance use assessments in a dynamic ER setting.
Collaborate with Crisis Responders, psychiatric facilities, detox centers, and homeless shelters to ensure safe discharges for patients.
Provide resources and emotional support to patients and families during traumatic situations.
Problem-solve complex discharge plans and connect patients to community resources.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong background in mental health and crisis intervention.
Ability to remain calm and compassionate in high-stress situations.
Skilled in independent decision-making and teamwork.

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $74,609.60 - $107,348.80 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
